About Us
The PRO “RE-BESS IFAISTOS Producer Responsibility Organization S.A.” with the distinctive title “RE-BESS IFAISTOS S.A.”, GEMI number 182569401000, is a Producer Responsibility Organization established and operating in accordance with the current regulatory framework and the provisions of Greek Law 4819/2021.

Our Purpose
Its purpose is the integrated management of lithium battery waste (Li-ion/LFP) of the BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) type, in the form of battery packs, installed as stationary systems in Electrical Energy Storage Stations (EESS), consisting of industrial-type batteries with internal storage, specifically designed for storing and supplying electrical energy to and from the grid.

Our Services
The Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) RE-BESS IFAISTOS operates in accordance with the provisions of Greek Law 4819/21 and is responsible for organizing the collection/transportation, management, processing and recycling services for lithium battery and accumulator waste (Li-ion / LFP) of the BESS type, with an emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance and sustainable resource management. The supervision of the operation of PRO RE-BESS IFAISTOS falls under the responsibility of the Hellenic Recycling Agency (E.O.AN.).
